The Andrew Lees Trust (ALT)
The Andrew Lees Trust was set up in 1995 in memory of Andrew Lees (celebrated Environmentalist and Campaigns Director of Friends of the Earth). Andrew believed in empowering local communities to take control of their own environmental and development solutions and consequently the objectives of the Trust reflect that larger purpose and the example of his inspirational work, focusing on training, education and capacity building for local people to reduce poverty, increase food security and improve natural resource management.
