The collaboration with other organisations is a highly valuable method to increase knowledge and to inprove the effects of conservational work. MWC has worked and is still working with the following organisations and institutions:



Jane Goodall Institute of Switzerland

The Jane Goodall Institut of Switzerland has worked with MWC on Project Tampina. The collaboration includes the construction of the school buildings as well as the initiation of the youth program "Roots & Shoots".

American Peace Corps

On request of Madagascar Wildlife Conservation a volunteer from Peace Corps was stationed at Andreba, where she helped establishing Camp Bandro, worked on the Comicbook project and generally provided valuable insights and local knowledge for our work.

Parc Ivoloina / Madagascar Fauna Group

The Ivoloina Zoo is run by the Madagascar Fauna Group outside of Tamatave. It offers a look into the natural diversity of Madagascar and is at the same time a environmental education center and a research station. MWC has worked with Parc Ivoloina on the Comicbook project for Alaotra.

Durrell Wildlife Conservation
Trust
One of the main programmes of Durrell in Madagascar is the protection of the wetland area of Alaotra in general and of the Alaotra Gentle lemur in particular. Hence there is a close contact between MWC and Durrell concerning Project Alaotra.

PROMAD
PROMAD is the umbrella organisation of swiss institutions and associations working for and in Madagascar. It aims to facilitate the communication and coordination between its members and to offer help and information for the projects.

Global Islands Network
The Global Islands Network is a non-profit organisation established in June 2002 to conduct and promote culturally appropriate, ecologically sound, economically sustainable and socially equitable development on islands worldwide.
