NEWS: SCHOOLKIDS VISIT THE
BANDRO IN ANDREBA
In autumn 2008 MWC's comic book was distributed in four more schools around Lac Alaotra. Within this educational program MWC now invited the involved classes to Andreba, so that they could see the habitat of the bandro themselves. During boattrips on the lake and its papyrus belt, the children got an impression of this unusual surroundings an could even catch a glimpse of a wild alaotra gentle lemur, a bandro. With these visits MWC aims to deepen the knowledge, which has been acquired through the comic book during the school year.
